ਅੱਜ ਆਪਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਅਤਿਕਥਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਕੱਦਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਭ ਦੀ ਇਹੋ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਰੂਪ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਪੂਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਮਾਰ ਹੋਵੇ। ਮੈਂ, ਖ਼ੁਦ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਰੁਚੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕਈ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਿੱਢੇ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਚਾਰੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਸਤਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਵਾਗਤੀ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਲਾਈਟਾਂ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਡਿਵਾਈਡਰ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ, ਸੁੰਦਰ ਚੌਕ, ਪੁਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ, ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਰਸਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ, ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗਾਂ, ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਦਿੱਖ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧਦੇ ਜਾਓਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਮਾਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਫੇਸਿੰਗ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਝਲਕ ਪਾਓਗੇ

ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਦੀ ਅੰਦਰਲੀ ਦਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਂ -ਦੀ-ਤਿਉਂ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੁਖਤਾ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਉਂ ਹੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਲੰਘ ਕੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਐਂਟਰੈਂਸ ਪਲਾਜ਼ਾ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਐਂਟਰੇਂਸ ਪਲਾਜ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਸਰਾਹਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਪੂਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਕਾਰਜ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੇ ਲੱਗਣਗੇ। ਬਸ! ਆਹ ਦੋ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦਿਓ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਓਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਆਸਥਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਦਿੱਖ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਦੰਗ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਓਗੇ। ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਜੋ ਥੋੜੀ-ਬਹੁਤ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹਦੇ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ

ਅਰਜੁਨ ਐਵਾਰਡੀ ਹਿਨਾ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਿਸਟਲ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇਬਾਜ਼ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਸਪੋਰਟ ਫੈਡਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ 'ਚ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇਬਾਜ਼ ਹੈ। ਹਿਨਾ ਨੇ 2013 ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੱਪ 'ਚ ਸੋਨ ਤਮਗਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਹਿਨਾ 2010 ਦੀਆਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਮੰਡਲ ਖੇਡਾਂ 'ਚ ਵੀ ਟੀਮ ਵਰਗ 'ਚ ਤੇ 10 ਮੀਟਰ ਏਅਰ ਪਿਸਟਲ ਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਨ ਤਮਗਾ ਫੁੰਡ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਇੰਚੀਓਨ ਏਸ਼ੀਅਨ ਖੇਡਾਂ 'ਚ ਹਿਨਾ ਨੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਵਰਗ 'ਚ ਦੋ ਕਾਂਸੀ ਦੇ ਤਮਗੇ ਜਿੱਤੇ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਹਿਨਾ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਹੁਣ ਰੀਓ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ 'ਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੇਹਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।  

Heena Sidhu is the 1st Indian Pistol Shooter to be ranked World No. 1 by ISSF & the 1st Indian Pistol Shooter to win gold Medal in the 2013 ISSF World Cup Finals. Punjab is thankful to Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu Ji for considering to launch a high-speed train between Amritsar and New Delhi soon. The Union minister has also promised that railway stations of Amritsar and Ludhiana will be redeveloped with modern facilities. All this will further pace up the development happening in Punjab!

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal held Sangat Darshan program in Fatehgarh Churian today and addressed public gatherings at Batala and Ball village. He said that water was the lifeline of state and SAD-BJP alliance government was duty-bound to protect every single drop of water in the state. He said they were ready to make every sacrifice for protecting the waters of the state at every cost.

Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today urged the Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti Ji to direct its Ministry for immediate revision of construction norms for water courses especially in Punjab, allocations of funds for Swan River and approval and sanction of funds for Upper Bari Doab Canal (UBDC).

The Chief Minister has also requested her to allow Rs 35000 as construction cost for water courses instead of existing Rs 25000 per hectare. The Union Minister assured Mr. Badal that she would soon convene a special meeting of all the officers concerned with these issues so that these could be addressed shortly.
